Adventura Mountainboarding have been running and promoting the Mountainboard World Downhill Championships since its inception in 2005. Two championships have been held in Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy, last years was in Cyprus.

Adventura have also hosted the Italian Open since the first in 2003 and the Cyprus Open for the last two years, both are a part of the Mountainboard World Series. Adventura has also supported and sponsored the ATBA-UK (All Terrain Boarding Association) British Championships for many years.
This year's championship is scheduled to be in Cyprus for October. For more information please go to the mwdc.info site.
